This pack includes:

1- Matching activities to combine two root words and build a new compound word from them. Scaffolded activities vary between matching the pictures only or writing the new compound word they build.
2- Analyzing different words, then sort them on the “Compound / Not a compound” word sorting mat.
3- Flowers craft activity. If the child can come up with his own compound words from the root word on the flower, they can create their own compound words on the petals. If they are still practicing the lesson, then they can color the flower with the compound words and practice combining the two root words to form a compound word in their journal.
4- Compound words command cards/task cards.
5-Control of error chart for all activities so they can check their work  independently.
